Howdy! I am Jennifer Mikeska Barrett, a current resident of Denver, Colorado, USA, and a future resident of Spanish Wells. I have a southern twang that comes from my 35 years living in Houston, Texas, and from different parts of Louisiana where I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Accounting. I have visited Spanish Wells many times since my first trip in February 2020. My husband David and I have 2 children, and once they are out of school, we will be building our forever home on Russell Island. We bought property there in 2021 and are beyond excited to continue to be part of the Spanish Wells community!

I started this list as a personal project for my friends to reference for my 50th birthday trip to Spanish Wells. It has since evolved into so much more. I have enjoyed talking to local business owners as this list continues to grow! Jen’s List is all-inclusive for anything food and/or beverage. It’s all I have time to maintain at the moment!
